Advanced TEMS Provider

For the trained and experienced TEMS Provider, KYTEMS has developed an Advanced TEMS provider course. This Advanced TEMS provider course builds on the skills acquired in the TEMS Provider course. Topics include advanced pre-planning, nutrition, fitness, preventative medicine, orthopedic injury prevention and treatment, team member evaluation strategies, strategies for providing medical training for team members, suicide prevention, accessing a cadaver lab, advanced medical accountability issues, introduction to the use of ultrasound in the tactical environment, hands on skills at night time in urban and rural environments, thermal imaging, passive night vision technologies, new equipment and techniques and advanced TEMS medical research.
